stayed at this hotel with an organised coach trip with Diamond holidays. The staff were friendly and very helpful. the hotel is clean, the room was clean and spacious enough for the two of us. The food was part of the trip and even though they ran out on the first 2 nights I think it was as much down to some guests eating enough for 2/3 people as the hotel not being aware that some guests eat a lot more food when its buffet style. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice for all. Both my mum and I had a lovely stay.
The timing of the evening meal was very rushed. When having a 3 course meal I like a good 1 1/2 hours to relax with a bottle of wine but as the restaurant was open to other guests at 7pm we felt very uncomfortable staying after this time. It was a shame the hotel could not find a different room for meals away from the main restaurant or it open 30 mins earlier. The staff were rushed off their feet so I had to buy a bottle of wine in the bar and take it into the restaurant with us.
